The Challenge
A homeowner contacted BioSweep Southeast after noticing persistent dust buildup, worsened allergy symptoms, and a general decline in indoor air quality. Family members were experiencing frequent respiratory issues, and HVAC efficiency had noticeably dropped. Upon inspection, we discovered the home’s air ducts were severely clogged with years’ worth of dust, allergens, pet dander, and debris.

The Approach
BioSweep Southeast performed a full inspection of the ductwork using advanced camera equipment and air quality testing. We followed with a comprehensive cleaning using industry-grade negative air machines and specialized rotary brushes to extract contaminants deep within the ductwork.Our process included:
- Sealing and isolating the system to prevent debris spread during cleaning
- Dislodging and vacuuming out contaminants with HEPA-filtered equipment
- Sanitizing duct interiors with EPA-approved antimicrobial treatments
- Installing new filters and recommending ongoing maintenance
We also provided the homeowner with an air quality report comparing pre- and post-cleaning levels.
